Innovative Business Award
Advanced Microelectronics, Inc. received the Innovative
Business Award for developing a unique IT solution that
will help companies keep up with technology and be cost
effective at the same time. The monthly honor
recognizes unique innovations by Indiana companies that
have made and continue to make a significant impact on
the economic climate of the state.
Insight Award
Advanced Microelectronics, Inc.
received the Insight Award by the Society of Technical
Communications as an innovator in IT Management
Methodologies and Project Management Methodologies.
Other companies that were honorable mentions for this
award were Eli Lilly, Thompson Consumer Electronics and
Indiana Department of Information Technology.

VARBusiness magazine. With 1998 annual revenues in
excess of $23 million, Advanced Microelectronics, Inc.
was No. 444 on the list, an elite group of companies
representing the most successful of more that 108,000
value-added resellers (VAR's), systems integrators and
technology consulting organizations in the United States
and Canada.

The Growth 100 program is administered by Indiana
University's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation,
a not-for-profit research center of the Indiana
University Kelley School of Business. In 2000, Advanced
Microelectronics, Inc. was named to the Growth 100 for
the 6th CONSECUTIVE YEAR.
Industry of the Year
The Vincennes Area Chamber of Commerce recognized
Advanced Microelectronics, Inc. as the 1996 Industry of
the Year at their 80th Annual Meeting on May 16, 1996.

On March 26,
1996 Indiana's Lt. Governor Frank O'Bannon named
Advanced Microelectronics, Inc. among the FIVE BEST
